A peek behind the curtain of Wadsroad...

🎛️ Pause Menu Settings – Almost There!

We’ve been polishing up the Settings UI in the pause menu

• Added fully functional Apply and Revert buttons for audio, video, and keybind settings (because nobody likes losing their setup).

• Created a shared settings save file that carries your preferences across all save files. No more redoing your sound sliders every time.

We also introduced Combat Keybinds, which only appear once you unlock combat (a little surprise for later).
Now, the game loads and applies your settings right when you spawn—like magic.
At this point, the Settings UI is feeling pretty feature-complete… for now!

🎶 New Sounds & Strange Creatures

A brand-new track has entered the game: “Bunker”—moody, atmospheric, and perfect for creeping through unknown places.
We also added a strange new enemy: Bunny Hands. They’ve arrived in Wadsroad, though they’re still figuring out how to... exist.

They now have an idle animation, so they at least look unsettling while standing around.
(Also—moment of silence for my poor VALORANT account… gone but not forgotten 🪦)

🌙 Lights, Fog, and Trailer Frames

Lighting updates galore! We started by adjusting interiors:

• Cooper & Red’s Living Room

• Cooper’s Room
  They’re looking much cozier and moodier now, perfectly suited to the game’s tone.
  We also jumped into the creation of a 2nd trailer video, refining it bit by bit. It's looking so close to how we imagined.

Outside, Wadsroad got a fresh new look:

• Added Volumetric Fog for atmosphere and mystery

• Updated lampposts and house lights across the town

• And we finally did a full lighting pass on all outdoor areas

To wrap it up, we swept through the environment and fixed all those little “we’ll fix that later” details. Done and dusted!
